The Siak Regency Government only requires 50 percent Work From Home (WFH) or work from home for State Civil Servants (ASN) and 50 percent Work From Office (WFO) when they come to work after the Eid holiday.
This rule applies because Siak Regency is still included in the orange zone for the spread of Covid-19.
“Now we are still implementing PPKM Mikro, so employees are limited to work from home (WFH) and work from office (WFO) 50-50 percent with strict health protocols,” said Secretary of the Siak Regency Covid-19 Task Force, Budhi Yuwono.
Budhi said, in anticipation of the spread of Covid-19 from employee clusters in the Siak Regency Government, ASN is required to be vaccinated.
There will be sanctions for employees and honorariums who intentionally do not want to be vaccinated in accordance with law number 4 of 1984 concerning infectious disease outbreaks.
“There is no reason to refuse. We have already carried out mass vaccinations for ASN and honorary before Eid. All must participate, except for people who are not allowed to be vaccinated or comorbid,” he said.
He added that the backflow blocking was also extended to May 24, 2021, at the same checkpoint.
This policy is a continuation of the blocking of the homecoming flow which is in effect from 6-17 May 2021.
“The operation is still continuing until May 24, because many could have returned to Siak from homecoming,” he said.
To note, the number of positive cases of Covid-19 in the past week in the Siak Regency has started to be low.
As of May 17, the Covid-19 Task Force recorded only 16 additional positive cases and 22 recoveries. Whereas previously, there were more than 55 positive cases in Siak for a day, so the Siak Regency was included in the red zone.
