Regional Secretary of Siak Regency, Arfan Usman on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, directly reviewed the implementation of mass vaccination for the general public which was carried out simultaneously in all Districts throughout Siak Regency from 19-20 May 2021.
In this activity, Regional Secretary Siak Arfan Usman together with the Head of Health, Toni Candra, reviewed the implementation of mass vaccination in Sialang Sakti Village and Sawit Permai Village, Dayun District.
In front of the people of Sialang Sakti Village and the people of Kampung Sawit Permai, Arfan Usman assured the public that the vaccine to be injected was safe and halal.
“Mother and father, don’t be afraid. Alhamdulillah, the vaccine is safe, because it has been considered halal and holy by the Central MUI and the assessment is safe for use by the BPOM. I have also been vaccinated”, explained Arfan.
In addition, vaccines are one way to break the chain of Covid-19 spread in Siak Regency, especially since Dayun District is the 4th highest spread of Covid-19 in Siak Regency, after Perawang District, Siak District, and Sungai Apit District.
“After being vaccinated, ladies and gentlemen still have to apply health protocols, such as wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, and staying away from crowds”, ordered the Regional Secretary.
Then, Arfan also asked all sub-district heads, village heads, and all Penghulu to help society to the public about the benefits and uses of vaccines. So that the incorrect information circulating in the community can be rectified.
Furthermore, Siak Regional Secretary Arfan Usman, together with Siak Police Chief AKBP Gunar Rahardiyanto and Health Kandis Toni Candra, reviewed the implementation of mass vaccination at the Siak District Health Center.
In addition to Siak District, this mass vaccination program was also held in all Regencies / Cities throughout Riau Province.
