The Regent of Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) HM Wardan, asked for the salaries of provincial assistant teachers to be paid immediately so that they can be used for those concerned.
Considering the needs during Ramadan and Eid, there are quite a few days left.
Moreover, the assistant teachers have not received their salaries for four months.
“I have ordered the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency and the Education Office to pay it immediately. Because these funds have been received from the Riau Provincial Government,” said the Regent of Indragiri Hilir HM Wardan on Friday, May 7, 2021 night.
The delay in paying the honorarium for this regional assistant teacher will make the teachers not optimally carry out their duties.
Therefore, the Regent asked the relevant regional apparatus organizations (OPD) to follow up.
“No later than Monday (10 May 2021) the teachers concerned have received it,” added the Regent for these two periods.
As the former Head of the Education Office, Wardan, admitted that he was very concerned about the condition of regional assistant teachers at the kindergarten, elementary and junior high school levels. Especially when it comes to rights such as salaries.
The total amount of funds allocated for the salaries of provincial assistant teachers is around 2.4 billion.
The funds are the rights of 24 kindergarten teachers, 285 elementary school teachers and 113 junior high school teachers.
