In Slovakia, they decided to allow entry into the country for another category of citizens – foreigners vaccinated with the Russian drug Sputnik V.
It is clarified that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia recommended the authorities to open the borders for travelers who, when crossing the border, present a certificate of vaccination.
On June 7, Slovakia began using Sputnik V. Currently, vaccinations can only be given in Bratislava and in the city of Zilina, but from next weekend several more vaccination points will open in each of the seven provinces of the country.
At the moment, entry to the territory of Slovakia from countries that aren’t part of the European Union is allowed for persons who have a residence permit, work or study visa, as well as close relatives permanently residing in the country.
Earlier in June, Spain opened to coronavirus-vaccinated tourists. Also, the authorities have allowed the mooring of cruise ships in their ports.
According to the document, before traveling, you must first leave an application about the desire to enter the country and confirm the passage of the full vaccination cycle.
