“After being sworn in, my first task as Chair of the Siak Regency Family Welfare Development Team was to appoint a new board.”
This was conveyed by Dra Hj Rasidah Alfedri, after being appointed as Chair of the Siak Regency Family Welfare Development Team (TP PKK) by the Chair of the Riau PKK TP at the Pekanbaru Regional Building.
Furthermore, Rasidah will carry out priority programs for the Development of Family Welfare in accordance with the results of the National Working Meeting for the Development of Family Welfare.
“So in Family Welfare Development, there are four working groups (pokja) that refer to regional needs. Then all of these Pokjas are associated with stunting problems,” he explained.
He explained that the stunting problem itself became one of the priorities of the Working Group for the Development of Family Welfare.
The task of Pokja I is to manage the Pancasila Appreciation and Practice Program and the Mutual Cooperation Program.
“Working together is expected to be able to reduce the stunting rate in Siak Regency,” said the woman who likes to drink ginseng coffee.
Then Pokja II one of its tasks is to increase family income. This means that increasing family income is one way to overcome the stunting problem.
Likewise with the working group III which manages the Food, Clothing, Housing, and Household Management programs.
And the last one is working group IV managing the health sector. Everything must be related to the handling of the stunting problem in the Siak Regency.
The wife of the Siak Regent said that the Siak Regional Government gave special attention. Each sub-district Family Welfare Guidance receives a budget of 30 million per year. And the Village Family Welfare Development receives a budget of 25 million per year outside the budget for the dasa wisma group.
“With this budget, the sub-district Family Welfare Development and the Village Family Welfare Development can carry out training activities in accordance with their respective Pokjas,” concluded Rasidah at Balai Pauh Janggi.
