The Siak Regional Secretary, Drs H Arfan Usman, M.Pd handed over the KTP to the Regent and Deputy Regent of Siak because every official who changes address is obliged to change his ID card, this is already a population administration rule that must be implemented.
This was conveyed by the Head of the Population and Civil Registration Office of Siak Regency, Hasmizal, S.Sos when answering this media during the celebration of the inauguration of the Regent and Deputy Regent of Siak in the Pandopo Hall of the Abdi Praja complex.
“Yes, said the Head of the Population and Civil Registration Service that the handing over of ID cards to the newly inaugurated Siak Regent and Deputy Regent is a mandate from the population rules that we must carry out in accordance with the applicable rules of the game.
Like the Regent’s and his wife’s ID cards that have been handed over by the Regional Secretary, this is done because the faces of the Regent and his wife listed on the previous ID cards look a bit worn so that the faces of the number one person and also his wife will look shiny, so the ID cards are replaced with new ones.
Meanwhile, Mr. Deputy Regent and his wife, the reason for submitting a new ID card, is because before serving as Deputy Regent of Siak, he was the President Director of PT Persi.
“And in addition, the deputy regent has been living in the village of Kampung Dalam, the Siak sub-district, by officially serving as the deputy regent of Siak and moving to the official house in the village of Kampung Rempak.
Therefore, in accordance with applicable regulations, every citizen who becomes an official and changes residence must be replaced with an ID card and adjusted to his position status and new residential address,” explained the Head of the Population and Civil Registration Service.
