Many of us think that the farthest island of Indonesia in the western hemisphere is Sabang.
In fact, Sabang itself is the city name of an island called Weh Island.
In fact, Weh has a myriad of beauties. To enjoy its beauty, you can go snorkeling or scuba diving. This is because you can see various kinds of fauna in the waters of Weh Island.
One of the best diving spots is on Rubiah Island where you can meet whales, sharks, dolphins, turtles and manta rays.
Situated at the entranceway of the Malacca Strait, Weh Island is naturally untouched despite its small size and convenient access. It is another garden often forgotten.
Diving in Weh Island is a well-established recreational activity. Divemasters and dive instructors are ready to offer a variety of dive sites like the fabled Sea Garden in Rubiah Island.
You’ll find many delightful sea creatures, most notably manta rays, whale sharks, dolphins, and sea turtles.
Although it is a small island, it gives you the sea experience and waterfall up in the rain forest as well.
