After the residents of Kandis District, now the residents of Tualang District no longer need to come to the Siak Population and Civil Registry (Disdukcapil) office to record and print e-ID, because they only need to come to the Tualang Technical Implementation Unit (UPT), people can already get e-ID cards.

“Now, the Tualang people no longer need to go all the way to Siak, because they only need to come to the Siak Population and Civil Registry, now people can record and print e-KTPs,” said Siak Regent H Alfedri, while inaugurating the issuance of Family Cards (KK), recording and printing e-KTP, in RSUD type D Perawang.

Alfedri appreciates the breakthrough made by the Siak Population and Civil Registry, by providing the best service for the community.

So, the community is helped by the programs provided by the local government.

“Regarding the lack of supporting tools, we will try to add to the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD). Hopefully, it can be realized and there will be no refocusing,” explained Alfedri.

Alfedri wants, for 2021, at least three more recordings and printing equipment will be added to the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT).

“Now that there are Kandis and Tualang, we will try to carry out the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) for Lubuk Dalam, Sungai Apit, and Minas,” he explained.

The consideration is because the sub-district has a dense population, so services must continue to be accelerated.

“We want to add 7 more Technical Implementation Units (UPT), to make it easier for the community in terms of managing their identity data, and no longer need to go all the way to Siak,” he explained.

Meanwhile, the head of the Population and Civil Registration Office of Siak Regency, Hasmizal, said that the recording and printing of e-KTPs in Tualang had been possible in the last month.

Hasmizal said that currently there are 4 UPTs that have recording equipment, but of the four, only UPT Disdukcapil Tualang and Kandis only have recording and printing.

“This innovation is in accordance with the vision and mission of the regent and deputy regent, in terms of public services. Regarding the regent’s desire to add 7 UPTs out of 5 existing UPTs, we will do it,” he said.

In addition, the Siak Disdukcapil also carries out active service activities for people with special needs and the elderly.

“Some time ago, we went to villages to record and print e-KTPs for the elderly and special needs,” he said.

“We have gone to several sub-districts to pick up the ball. For people with special needs and the elderly, my staff has gone down to do the recording and printing on the spot, so they no longer need to come to the official office or UPT,” he said.

Meanwhile, the head of the UPT Disdukcapil Tualang Abdul Samad said, so far the average number of people who come to record and print new e-KTPs is 15 per day.

“For beginners, the average is 15 people per day. As for printing damaged e-KTPs and renewals as many as 20 people per day,” he said.

Samad said that until now there have been no problems after a month of running this program, Samad also admitted that the Human Resources (HR) had also been sufficient and had supported the implementation of the program.

“In addition to Tualang residents, residents of Sungai Mandau Sub-district can also record here,” he explained.
