The Special Committee (Pansus) of the Riau Province Regional House of Representatives regarding the Third Amendment to the Regional Regulation (Perda) of Riau Province Number 8 of 2011 concerning Regional Taxes, conducted a Working Visit (Kunker) in the context of a comparative study with the Regional Tax and Levy Management Agency (BP2RD) North Sumatra Province (North Sumatra), Tuesday, July 6, 2021.
During the visit led by the Chair of the Special Committee, Sugeng Pranoto, accompanied by members of the Special Committee Karmila Sari, Yanti Komala Sari, Manahara Napitupulu, Syamsurizal, Mira Roza, Husaimi Hamidi, and Syafrudin Iput as well as officials from the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) from the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) and the Legal Bureau. This visit was received by the Secretary of BP2RD of North Sumatra Province, Victor Lumbanraja.
Sugeng Pranoto said the visit was to obtain references and strong legal bases in the study of the said Draft Regional Regulation (Ranperda).
Karmila Sari asked what application was used for motor vehicle tax and progressive tax.
Furthermore, Syamsurizal asked about the increase in vehicle tax in North Sumatra, which method is directly proportional to the products used or not? And how to get the data.
