The Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) of Riau Province suddenly made incidental visits (kuntil) to a number of companies, one of which was to PT Pembangunan Investasi Riau (PIR) Peranap Indragiri Hulu Branch, Friday on July 9, 2021.
Based on data collected from the Riau DPRD Public Relations social media, this incidental visit was related to the evaluation of targets, performance, and development of Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) of Riau Province.
The group led by the Chairman of Commission III DPRD Riau Province, Husaimi Hamidi, accompanied by other members of Commission III along with staff and commission experts, was received directly by the General Manager of PT. Riau Investment Development Suharyanto and his staff at Peranap.
In the meeting, Husaimi Hamidi asked about the number of coal transportation vehicles that did not use the BM license plate number.
In addition, Husaimi also suggested that companies provide Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Responding to this, Suharyanto said the vehicle was caused because the transportation service that won many auctions was from outside the Riau Province.
Meanwhile, for CSR, the company has distributed to the community around the company in the form of material assistance, for example building sports facilities and building houses of worship.
After having discussions and dialogues, the group went down to the field to see the location of the coal mining.
