Tragic, a young mother of two was brutally murdered in Mexico. At that time, her body was found with multiple signs of torture last week.
Her death makes her family in Texas family is calling for justice.
The woman named Lizbeth Flores, 23 was covered in bruises and all of her teeth were missing when authorities found her body next to a large rock in the Mexican city of Matamoros.
She lived there with her family.
After gone to find her boyfriend in Mexico on Aug. 10, the woman was reported missing on after failing to return from Mexico.
As cited News24xx.com from the ABC affiliate in Spanish, the mother of Flores told, “I kept calling her to find out where she was and why she hadn’t gotten home, and I couldn’t sleep all night because I was waiting for her.”
Then, the grief-stricken mother said she called the Brownsville Police Department. But, her daughter was found dead the following day.
But, the family believes that she was extorted, kidnapped, and then murdered by a violent gang in Matamoros.
In that case, the FBI has joined also in the investigation because Flores was a U.S. citizen.
