In a tragic incident, an American couple has been found dead at the bottom of a well. Known, that they went missing while traveling in Mexico.
Authorities said that the American couple named Ian Hirschsohn, 78, and Kathy Harvey, 73, were staying at a house near El Socorrito outside of San Quintin.
The pair comes from San Diego.
Then, on August 28, 2020, they vanished. Harvey, who works as a retired physical therapist, texted her son and say that he and his wife were going to explore a gold mine or enjoy a day at the beach
They were supposed to arrive Aug. 31 in their home in California but never showed up. The retired couple were first reported missing on Sept. 2.
Then, the authorities found their vehicle in a remote area outside of Ensenada. And the investigators spotted human remains at the bottom of the well on Friday and Saturday.
According to a statement from the Baja California state prosecutor’s office, “They are now confirmed deceased in Mexico and family has been notified.”
Until now, the officials have not released information regarding the cause of death and the case remains under investigation.
