Afghan Vice President Amrullah Saleh on Wednesday morning was not injured in a roadside bomb attack in Kabul.
Amrullah Saleh escaped the attack unscathed, said Afghan vice president’s office spokesman Razwan Murad.
Earlier, a bomb exploded by a roadside in Kabul.
The bomb targeted Afghanistan’s first Vice President Amrullah Saleh on Wednesday morning.
“Today, again the enemies of Afghanistan tried to harm Saleh, but they failed to achieve their evil goals, and Saleh escaped the attacks unharmed,” wrote Razwan Murad, spokesman for the vice president’s office of Afghanistan, on Facebook.
He told Reuters that the bomb targeted Saleh’s convoy and several of his bodyguards were injured.
