The COVID-19 Task Force of Indragiri Hilir Regency announced the addition of two positive Covid-19 patients after 7 residents of Tembilahan who were positive for COVID-19.
According to Trio Beni Putra, the Spokesperson for the Covid-19 Task Force in Indragiri Hilir Regency, the two patients were the residents of Tembilahan.
“The two residents were diagnosed with COVID-19 after passing the PCR Swab test that carried out by our medical team,” Trio said in a written statement on Saturday night, Sept. 12, 2020.
Trio revealed that the two patients who were being isolated for the treatment were currently in good clinical condition.
“But for the source of transmission, we don’t know. Because, two patients also did not experience pain such as coughing and so on, so we categorized the two patients as People Without Symptoms,” Trio explained.
With the addition of positive cases of COVID-19, the Medical Team immediately attempted to screen and tracing the close contacts of these patients.
“We hope, the public is expected to be able to comply with the health protocols for preventing the spread of COVID-19,” Trio added.
