At least, 5 teens arrested and one person was shot on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, after gunfire broke out at a haunted house in North Carolina.
At that time, 1,000 people were crowded into the Reaper’s Realm haunted house in China Grove, just north of Charlotte, when shots were fired shortly before 8:30 p.m.
According to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, pepper spray was deployed for those who refused to disperse.
“There were some shots fired by persons at the event, and small groups of persons that were fighting each other. It’s a scene chaotic.”
An unidentified victim was self-reported to the local hospital with a gunshot wound to the foot, and he was treated and released.
Five juveniles were arrested and will be charged and processed through the juvenile court system.
The officials said, three guns were also confiscated.
