An elderly couple who live in Teluk Pinang Village, Gaung Anak Serka (GAS) District, Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) was found dead, on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.
The incident shocked the local residents because the couple named Sukir (78) and Jadilah (75) lived together.
Based on what the son-in-law said, at around 1 pm, local time, he came to his in-law’s house to deliver some food.
But there was no answer when he knocked on the door.
Then, he decided to break-in and was surprised when he found both of them lying there.
The Head Police of Indragiri Hilir, AKBP Dian Setyawan through Kasat Reskrim Indragiri Hilir Police, AKP Indra L Lubis explained, from the results of crime scene, there were no oddities found
“The results of the local doctor’s observations found no signs of violence. It is suspected that the two elderly couples died because they had a history of illness,” explained the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit.
