For the first time, the District Government (Pemkab) of Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) has received an award for the merit system in the 2020 State Civil Service Management (ASN).
This Meritocracy award certificate was received directly by the Regent of Inhil, HM Wardan with 20 regencies/cities throughout Indonesia at a hotel in Jakarta on Thursday, January 28, 2021.
In the above case, the State Civil Apparatus Commission (KASN) gave awards to two categories, Very Good and Good.
The District Government of Inhil received the Good category with the achievement of a score of 262.5.
As explained by the Head of KASN, Agus Pramusinto, stated that the Awarding of Meritocracy is expected to be a trigger in improving the best performance for ASNs.
After receiving the award certificate, the Regent of Inhil HM Wardan explained that there were several aspects that KASN assessed. Among them, aspects of assessment, requirements planning, procurement, and information systems.
“Of course we would like to express our gratitude for the efforts and hard work of the ranks in carrying out their duties and functions, so as to be able to receive this award,” said Mr. Wardan.
What was obtained at that time, according to him, was able to become motivated in order to increase the commitment of government agencies to create professional ASNs and realize good governance to make ASN effective.
