The Budget Agency of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (Banggar DPR RI), approved the additional budget for the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs for the 2021 Fiscal Year (TA) amounting to IDR 50 billion.
In total, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs’ budget ceiling for FY 2021 is IDR 393.3 billion or a decrease of IDR 16 billion from the FY 2020 budget ceiling of IDR 409.4 billion.
The composition of the budget consists of: a Policy Implementation Coordination Program of IDR 186 billion (47.3 percent) and a Management Support Program of IDR 207.3 billion (52.7 percent).
The Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs’ Budget Ceiling from 2019 to 2021 continues to decline, especially for the coordination program.
Meanwhile, the support program has increased due to the acceptance of new CPNS, filling positions, and the addition of the Bureau of Communication, Information Services, and Trials.
Goods expenditure increases and capital expenditure decreases due to a change in the expenditure post from capital expenditure to goods expenditure (in the form of renting official vehicles, laptops, office space, etc.) so that it is more efficient.
The details of the additional IDR 50 billion in the framework of implementing committee activities include: (1) Implementation of Ministerial Coordination Meetings, Coordination Meeting with Provincial / Regency / City Governments; (2) Public Relations and Policy Publications; (3) Monitoring and Evaluation; and (4) PC-PEN Committee Secretariat Operations.
