A viral video on Instagram’s social media, @westjurnalpalma, shows a number of people attacking a car with stones.
The attack took place in the Tugu Proklamasi area, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at around 10.00 am.
Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Heru Novianto confirmed this.
Heru explained that the incident started when the car of the victim and the alleged perpetrator touched.
The perpetrator who did not accept it finally chased the victim and damaged it by hitting the victim’s car with a stone.
In the viral video, it can be seen that the perpetrator’s car braked suddenly, the victim then sounded the horn but the perpetrator did not accept it.
Inside the car, there was also a small child carried by a woman.
From inside the car, the woman also shouted for help.
“Sir! Help sir!, please!” she shouted.
The victim has reported the case and has been questioned at the Menteng Police.
The police have now identified the perpetrators of the attack and have been investigating the case in order to find a bright spot.
