The Regent of Siak, Alfedri directly opened the Extraordinary Sports Conference of Siak Regency (MUSORKABLUB) 2021, at the Grand Royal hotel, Siak District.
The Acting Chairperson of KONI for Siak Regency, Nasruddin said that the agenda to be discussed in the implementation of the Extraordinary Sports Conference of Siak Regency (MUSORKABLUB) 2021 was to elect the chairman of KONI for Siak Regency.
“After the old Chairman of KONI, Mr. Affifuddin, resigned due to his illness, today the Chairman of KONI for Siak Regency will be directly elected”, explained Nasruddin.
In his remarks, Alfedri said on behalf of the Regency Government, as well as sportspeople, he welcomed the Acting Chairman of the KONI from Riau Province and his entourage at the State Palace, Siak Regency.
“We also appreciate the implementation of the MUSORKABLUB activity of Siak Regency in 2021. In this deliberation, a new KONI chairman of Siak, will be chosen,” said Alfedri.
Alfedri hopes that the implementation of the Extraordinary Sports Conference of Siak Regency can be a forum for consolidation to increase commitment in improving Siak Regency’s achievements, in the field of sports in particular.
“Alhamdulillah, we feel very and proud, because there are 15 Siak children who will represent Riau Province at the 2021 National Sports Week (PON) in Papua Province, next October,” said the Siak Regent.
Alfedri added that Siak children chosen to represent Riau Province at the next October 2021 PON, are expected to be a motivation for other children.
“Hopefully the election of the Chairman of KONI will be able to improve Siak Regency’s achievements in sports, both at the Riau Province level and at the National level. And we also thank the old Mr. Affifuddin, who has carried out his duties as best as possible, hopefully, Allah gives healing to him. Amen”, he hoped.
In the MUSORKABLUB, also attended by the Acting Chairman of KONI Riau Province HR. Marjohan Yusuf and his entourage, Deputy Chairman I the Regional House of Representatives of Siak Regency, Fairus, and all sports management.
