The implementation of a number of traditional sports competitions by the Indonesian Traditional Sports and Games Committee (KPOTI) of Siak Regency for this year was lively.

In the competition with the communities, Alfedri looks very enthusiastic about participating in the Sack Race. Alfedri also played Pasak Lele’s games and threw cans using a baseball.

After participating in the competition, Alfedri conveyed this activity as one of his efforts to celebrate the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia in Siak Regency.
He is also happy because he can compete with the community.
Today, many of the younger generations do not know about the traditional games, and they choose to play with gadgets or smartphones.
Fairus Ramli also added that the traditional game has begun to disappear. So, with this activity, he hopes to revive the traditional games in the communities.
The local committee provides attractive gifts for the winners of the competition. On that occasion, Alfedri also handed over the prizes to the winners.
The game takes place on the soccer field in Sengkemang Village-Gasib District, Sri Gemilang Village, Rantau Panjang Village, Pangkalan Pisang Village, Keranji Guguh Village, and Artificial Village.
