This pilgrimage to the tomb of heroes from the Land of Coconut is in order to memories the heroes on Heroes Day that always fell on November 10.
Lieutenant M Boya is a hero who died in the war against the Dutch.
As information, the only daughter M Boya who is still alive is Mak Cik Masniah (71).
On the occasion, the Regent said, the struggle of Lieutenant M Boya must be remembered in the spirit of defending Indonesia’s independence.
“As the next generation, we must continue to boost motivation and enthusiasm to provide the best for our country,” the Regent said.
He also reminded, especially in the pandemic of Covid-19 that we must continue to rise up until the Covid-19 epidemic end by following the health protocol.
